Building an EMF protected house
Most homes are a health burden when it comes to the EMF radiation the residents are exposed to from internal and external sources like electrical wiring, power supply, phone towers and wireless tech. Building an EMF protected house is not difficult but it needs to be planned well. Building an EMF-free house can help you create a home that is good for the lifestyle, health and protect future generations.

Radiation protection for a timber house
In this radiation-free home building project we had a timber frame structure. The roof was elected to be steel, so that helped with RF radiation protection. In side the home we shielded from RF radiation and electric field radiation by use of T98 shielding paint and GPA shielding mesh. The T98 shielding paint was used in the bedrooms to make sure these were as perfectly protected as possible, ready for any additional RF radiation exposure from phone towers.
In this EMF protected house GPA shielding mesh was used on some external (non-bedroom) walls but mostly on internal walls for a specific reason. There was going to be a fair bit of electrical wiring throughout the home and to use shielded cable was going to be somewhat problematic because shielded cable is a fair bit thicker and doesn’t bend very well. To route many shielded cables through the timber walls would have seen the timber studs be perforated by many drill holes to allow the shielded cable to pass through.

GPA shielding mesh to protect against electric fields from internal walls
When planning to build this EMF protected house, the decision was made to use normal electrical cable (which would also take less time to install as it doesn’t need to be grounded at every point) and wrap the internal walls in GPA shielding mesh (which is connected to ground in an easy process with strips of strapping) to catch and lead away the electric fields from the wiring behind it.
This meant that entire living room spaces, an office and even a bathroom were wrapped internally with GPA shielding mesh to create a much improved internal space in this EMF protected home. After the GPA mesh the plaster board/Gyprock was put over the top.

The video gives you a quick view of what we are up to in the building of this EMF protected house. The GPA shielding mesh is on display and being implemented by the carpenters. The strapping for grounding is put in place, ready for the electrician to make the connection to ground later.
Can radiation travel through walls?
Yes, our walls don’t tend to protect us very well from EMF radiation from phone towers and there are other commonly found radiation types coming from and through walls that they don’t protect your family from. Some materials do reduce EMF but only certain types of radiation and some radiation will travel through walls regardless.
In stead of asking if walls reduce EMF radiation, the question should be if the environment behind your walls is one that promotes health instead of burden it. Less radiation is often not good enough.

The other EMF radiation problem that walls actually are a cause of, is the role they play with electric field radiation that comes from internal wiring. Normal wiring emits this and whilst concrete and double brick are helpful in reducing this, timber makes it worse. Avoiding and eliminating electric fields is a major consideration when building an EMF protected house.
What building materials to use to avoid EMF radiation?
Concrete, double brick and mud wall are generally an added help in reducing RF and EF radiation but it may not be enough to ensure low levels which we would consider supportive to health. Timber is more prone to the EMF issues but here is an important insight: As incorporating wholistic radiation shielding protection materials is pretty much called for wherever you build and whatever you build with, you could decide not to let radiation dictate what you’ll be building your house from.

If concrete or double brick was on the cards then ok. If you were thinking timber construction, then use that. It locks up carbon from the environment so it’s certainly a good environmental decision. No matter what you build with, we would argue you need assistance to avoid unfixable radiation sources and protect from the fixable ones. So design the home you really want and let us work with that.
What is the best material to block EMF?
EMF is a term referring to different low-level non-ionising radiation types found in homes. We can protect ourselves from electric fields (EF) and radio frequency (RF) radiation very well with shielding materials, but they have to be designed to be ‘healthy’ besides effective against the EMF. T98 shielding paint has got both requirements well covered and offers the best shielding against EF and RF from anything GEOVITAL has to offer.
