What are the results of EMF protection in a new shielded Hemp Home?
With very high radio frequency radiation exposure (RF) from the phone tower on the top of the hill, our friends at HempTech turned to Patrick van der Burght and GEOVITAL for mitigation approaches for their new prototype Hemp Home. After careful planning, it was turned into the first shielded hemp home with amazing results. The radiation on the body went from over 6000 microVolt to around 8(!) in the bedroom.
It was back in 2015 when this project started in New Zealand. After much research the HempTech company had to admit there wasn’t anyone else other than GEOVITAL that made much sense when it came to incorporating EMF protection into a new built home. In the building of a Hemp Home, many things for health and wellbeing of the residents is taken in account. It was a fine match with the careful and holistic approach that GEOVITAL and through it Patrick van der Burght has.
Is it difficult to protect a house from EMF radiation?
It is not difficult to implement EMF protection (avoidance and shielding) into a new built home, either by trades people who have never done it before, or by you if you were a ‘owner builder’. What is not easy is the analysis of you building plans, design, structure, location and desires, when it comes to creating a good approach to EMF-free building. For this you need an experienced consultant, and those are very rare.
All hemp homes should be shielded
After their experience with us and the clear interest that the community had in this new prototype shielded hemp home, the people of HempTech made it a standard recommendation that Hemp Homes should be shielded. Those building with hemp tend to be more natural minded and care about the environment, but what about your environment in the home when radiation sources from outside force their way in and interact with our body processes… especially your body’s ability to repair properly? During the building process of a hemp home it is most cost effective to to turn it into a shielded hemp home.

In the video you see Steve Hewitt, one of our New Zealand GEOVITAL consultants. Steve was also involved on the recordings made and features on the popular TV show Grand Designs. This was another shielded hemp home we were working on. The results of the shielding we shown on the TV and were very successful in lowering the RF absorption in the body.
